Steve Jobs Announcement Fallout

This comic sums it up. Steve Jobs makes an announcement, people go crazy for no good reason.

I suppose this is about right, although, I embellished it a little. I highly doubt there would be nukes dropped.

Yeah, that basically sums it up.
I’m an apple fan, but not to the point were I would run over a pedestrian and t-bone a semi, become a kleptomaniac in a matter of seconds, drop nukes, and well…I don’t wanna know what’s going on in that office building. Also, I have no control over volcanic activity, apparently Steve Jobs does.
An iShit. You might be on to something!

You can thank the Apple uberzealots for this. Did you get to see any video of this year’s WWDC? The guys were cheering Steve’s every move as if they were high school cheerleaders.
“And now, 3G..” — “OMG! 3G! 3G!” Claps, Claps, Claps
“GPS” — “Oh, no! Oh, no! Yes! Dude, GPS! GPS!!!!!” Claps, Claps, Claps, Claps
“These are the countries that will have the new iPhone readily available” — “OMG! OMG! We’re going global! OMG!” Claps, Claps, Claps, more claps. Euphoria. Pandemonium.

wwdc was fun. =) … but I didn’t see anything like that happen in the Bay area, maybe it’s just a east coast thing.
