What the hell am I getting myself in to?

I find that I don’t ask myself this question enough.

No, I am not getting myself into any bad situations, but I think every now and then you should try to step back and examine where you are in life. What decisions do you make that put you on the path that you are currently following. I tend to hope that nothing I do now will ever put me on such a poor path that I regret it, but you never know for sure.

I could go on and on about how one can examine life, and choose the ‘moral’ routes, or the ‘right’ routes. I can go on about how some people use religion as their guide, and others use the community that they are in. Really, that only thing that I feel is important is that you can step outside of yourself and take a look, ask yourself “What the hell am I getting myself in to?”, and answer truthfully. If you are happy with your answer, then the path you are on will be the right one.

Trust me.

    Hi Dave,

I accidentally run into your website. It looks very cool in all prospective and i like your blogs. It is really funny. In particular, i didn’t know that our department have something very interesting going on for April fool day, how i did miss there? :(

And about your post for the programming part, hmm…it is very interesting.
I agree and disagree. I did computer engineering and so i was once considered myself a C programmer. Like you said the logical knowledge i learned help me to switch to in other languages; so i agree with you and yes a plan it does help. Having said that, during my undergraduate study I helped many of my friends program C; they are very smart people in their own rights but i think sometimes they just did not have the interest in programming. Besides because of the amount of workloads we had, asking for helps do make the process a lot quicker and less painful.

Recently, I learned that those who asked for helps could do better. For instance, in one of my class there was someone asked me for PHP and CSS help and it turns out that she got a better grade then me for our first assignment. I blame no one since I did not have much time to add the extra extra things to it and you know what I am have been working on – performance and tuning every night . So, I disagree with the helping part you mentioned.

What a long comment from me.
